Join the Annual Midwest Crane Count

This year April 12th is the date of the Annual Midwest Crane Count.  Thousands of folks in six Midwest states will head out to wetland and other birding locations to count cranes.

Maple Syrup

Curious about the making of Maple Syrup?  Here are some upcoming events where you can watch the sap drip from the trees and see how syrup is made.

Apostle Island Ice Caves

Although the snow and cold sometimes make you want to hide away 'til spring, one thing special about Wisconsin's winters are the Apostle Island Ice Caves.  Many of these sea caves are only accessible by boat, and once the ice begins to form nature shows off her winter beauty.
